not for me.
The ads are completely annoying on mobile. Half of the screen was covered by ads, then the quarter was the header and footer. So the remaining reading space is 1/4 of the screen.

alright I just used it on my experia and I see just a single ad on the bottom which takes 1/8 of the screen. I tried using iphone 5 as well and it is also the same. can you take a screenshot?

It might work but it is a lot easier for me to read on landscape most of the time. URLs and images can easily be viewed on landscape and this is the first time I would be forced to read on portrait. Hard to type because the keyboard is a lot smaller and I got thick thumb.
